Surviving the work week with yoga: tip #2- head, jaw, neck and shoulder pain

Tension is carried throughout the body. Today we’ll concentrate on relaxing the head, jaw, neck and shoulders.
We’ll start with the face: make a prune face, scrunch everything up around your nose. Sqeeze and relax. Next, open your mouth and eyes, stick out your tongue, and make a lion sound. This relaxes the face, mouth, throat and jaw.
Follow this by looking gently right and left a few times, then raise the head up and down, inhaling up, exhaling down. Make believe there’s a crayon on your nose, and draw some big circles, clockwise and counterclockwise.
To finish, circle your shoulders front, up back and down a few times. Then reverse the circle.
Now sit tall, top of head reaching towards the sky, chin tucked in. Avoid computer head- head juts forward, neck is out of alignment, shoulders are raised up to the ear lobes. Computer head looks and feels just awful.

Me too. It’s hard to fit my glasses over the screen, though.
